Uzbekistan’s airports serve over 15 million passengers in 2025

From January to December 2025, Uzbekistan’s airports handled 128,972 flights, according to Uzbekistan Airports.

It was reported that a total of 128,972 flights were operated at the country’s airports over the year, representing a 14 percent increase compared to 2024. Of these, 92,480 were international flights, while 36,492 were domestic.

In 2025, Uzbekistan’s airports served 15,504,264 passengers, which is 15 percent more than in the previous year. Of the total, 12,707,101 passengers used international flights, while 2,797,163 traveled on domestic routes.

Positive dynamics were also observed in the cargo segment. In 2025, Uzbekistan’s airports processed 98,137 tons of cargo and mail, a 12 percent increase compared to 2024.

In addition, four foreign airlines — Air China, China Eastern, Korean T’way, and Malaysia’s AirAsia — began operating flights to Uzbekistan’s airports last year.

It is worth noting that earlier it was reported that starting from 2026, the protection and security of all airports in Uzbekistan will be transferred to the State Security Service.
