Today, November 28, a fire broke out in a multi-storey residential building in the Andijan region. The regional Emergency Situations Department reported the incident.
According to the report, at 00:07, the 112 emergency line received information that a fire had broken out in one of the unfinished multi-storey buildings located on Boburshoh Street in the “Iqbol” neighborhood of Andijan city.
Four fire-rescue crews arrived at the scene at 00:16, contained the fire by 00:20, and fully extinguished it by 00:50.
As a result of the fire, the roof of the unfinished building was damaged. The cause of the fire and the amount of damage are currently being determined.
No injuries were reported.
It is worth noting that earlier, a major fire occurred at a production facility in Zangiota.
