Bus driver dies in tragic accident

A fatal road traffic incident occurred in the Sergeli district of Tashkent. The accident took place at around 5:00 p.m. on December 20 at a railway crossing located on Khanabad Street.
According to reports, bus traffic in one direction was temporarily halted due to a train passing through the railway crossing. A bus operating on Route No. 127 and belonging to the “Bus Depot No. 12” branch stopped behind it. Due to snowfall, the driver exited the vehicle to clean the windshield but forgot to engage the handbrake.
As a result, the bus unexpectedly rolled forward and ran over the driver. At the time of the incident, passengers were present inside the bus.
