Some roads in Sergeli to be closed due to holiday events

In Tashkent’s Sergeli district, traffic will be temporarily restricted on several streets starting from December 25 due to New Year celebrations taking place on the 24/7 Gastronomic Tourism Street. The Sergeli district administration’s press service reported this.
According to the statement, the following sections will be closed until January 10, 2026:
– a section of Sugdiyona Street from its intersection with Yangi Sergeli Street to the intersection with Jaloyir and Bagrikeng streets;
– a section of Jaloyir Street from its intersection with Sugdiyona Street to the intersection with Obihayot Street.
It is worth noting that earlier reports stated that several streets in Tashkent would be temporarily closed to ensure proper preparation and high-level organization of New Year events, as well as to maintain public order and ensure public safety during the celebrations.
