A 3.4-magnitude earthquake occurred in Uzbekistan today, May 20, the Republican Center for Seismic Prognostic Monitoring reported.
According to the center, the earthquake was recorded at 12:29 p.m. It had a magnitude of 3.4 and a depth of 10 kilometers. The epicenter was in the town of Gazli, located 525 kilometers southwest of Tashkent. Its coordinates were 40.26 degrees north latitude and 63.13 degrees east longitude.

In Gazli, the tremor was felt at 2 points, 31 kilometers from the epicenter.
Earlier, it was reported that a 5.3-magnitude earthquake had occurred in Uzbekistan.
