Users can now check banned religious materials in Uzbekistan (video)

Users can now check via Telegram whether religious materials are banned in Uzbekistan. The Committee on Religious Affairs reported this.

According to the committee, a special Telegram bot, @dinuzbbot, has been launched in cooperation with the State Security Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Committee on Religious Affairs. The bot is designed to inform and warn users about banned religious materials.

Through the bot, users can obtain information on whether certain religious materials have undergone religious studies expert examination and whether they are banned in Uzbekistan. In particular, it provides information on books, the activities of certain individuals and organizations, and lists of official religious websites.

Users can also send a source to the bot themselves and receive information about it. The bot is currently operating in test mode.
