Erkinjon Turdimov’s brother appointed to new position

Shavkatjon Turdimov, the brother of Syrdarya region’s governor Erkinjon Turdimov, has been appointed to a new position. The Tashkent regional administration’s press service reported the news.

According to the announcement, Shavkatjon Okbotayevich Turdimov has been appointed as the head of the Tashkent regional department of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Before his appointment, Turdimov served as the deputy head of the same department in the Tashkent region.

It is noted that Shavkatjon Turdimov was born in 1980 in the Samarkand region. He holds a higher education degree and graduated from the Tashkent Institute of Finance in 2006.

Earlier, it was reported that Rustam Khulmatov, former governor of the Tashkent region, had returned to work in the regional administration system.
