Temperatures to rise to 38 degrees tomorrow

Uzbekistan will see mostly dry and warm weather on June 6, with temperatures expected to rise to 38 degrees Celsius in some areas. Short-term rainfall may occur only in some mountainous and eastern regions, Uzhydromet said in its latest weather forecast.

According to the forecast, partly cloudy weather is expected in Tashkent, with no precipitation. The wind will blow from the east at 3-8 meters per second, occasionally strengthening to 10-12 meters per second, with possible dust storms. The temperature will be 17-19 degrees at night and 32-34 degrees during the day.

No precipitation is expected in Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region. Winds may strengthen to 13-18 meters per second in some areas. Temperatures will be 13-18 degrees at night and 30-35 degrees during the day.

Dry weather will also persist in Bukhara and Navoi regions, where stronger winds and dust storms are possible. Daytime temperatures will reach 30-35 degrees.

No precipitation is expected in Tashkent, Syrdarya, Jizzakh and Samarkand regions. Temperatures will be 16-21 degrees at night and around 30-35 degrees during the day.

The hottest weather is expected in Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, where daytime temperatures may rise to 33-38 degrees. The wind will blow from the east at 9-14 meters per second.

In the Fergana Valley regions — Andijan, Namangan and Fergana — short-term rain and thunderstorms may occur in some areas in the afternoon. Daytime temperatures will reach 30-35 degrees.

Foothill and mountainous areas will see relatively cooler weather. Rain and thunderstorms may occur from time to time, while winds may strengthen to 13-18 meters per second in some places. Temperatures will be 10-15 degrees at night and 18-23 degrees during the day.

Forecasters also warned of possible mudflows and flash floods in foothill and mountainous areas. Residents and tourists are advised to take precautions.
