FIDE rating updated: Positions of Uzbek chess players revealed

The World Chess Federation (FIDE) has released its updated global ratings for the end of April. According to the official FIDE website, five Uzbek grandmasters are ranked among the top 100 players in the world.

Uzbekistan’s top-ranked chess player, Nodirbek Abdusattorov, remains in 6th place. However, his score slightly decreased by 1.9 points, bringing his total to 2771.1.

Javokhir Sindorov gained 0.1 rating points in April, but nevertheless dropped one position to 31st place. He now has a total of 2760.1 points.

Veteran grandmaster Rustam Kasimdjanov is ranked 48th with 2675 points, down two places from the previous month.

Meanwhile, Nodirbek Yakubboev improved his standing by one spot to 60th place, with a total of 2665 points.
