Cannavaro named among highest-paid coaches

Uzbekistan national team head coach Fabio Cannavaro has been named among the highest-paid coaches participating in the 2026 World Cup, Finance Football reported.
According to the publication, Brazil national team head coach Carlo Ancelotti was named the highest-paid specialist among coaches of teams taking part in the 2026 World Cup. The Italian coach’s annual income is 10 million euros.
Germany national team head coach Julian Nagelsmann ranked second, with an annual salary of 7 million euros. Mauricio Pochettino, who manages the U.S. national team, placed third with 6 million euros. England national team head coach Thomas Tuchel earns 5.8 million euros per year.
Uzbekistan national team head coach Fabio Cannavaro ranked fifth on the list. His annual salary is 4 million euros, the same as that of Portugal national team head coach Roberto Martinez.
Cannavaro’s salary is reportedly higher than that of France national team head coach Didier Deschamps, who earns 3.8 million euros, Netherlands head coach Ronald Koeman, who earns 3 million euros, and Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni, who earns 2.3 million euros.
