Additional admission announced for Master’s programs

The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation has announced that additional admission has been opened for master’s programs in the 2025/2026 academic year.

It was noted that the results of admission to the master’s level for the current academic year have already been approved and delivered to higher education institutions. In line with the Cabinet of Ministers’ decision, applicants who were unable to secure admission within the allocated quota will now have an additional opportunity.

During this process, universities’ capacity, material and technical resources, as well as the qualifications of faculty members, will be taken into account. The parameters of additional admission will be approved in coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation.

Based on the above, applicants wishing to take part in the additional admission process may contact the admissions committee or the master’s department of their respective higher education institution for further information.

For those admitted to state universities under additional admission, the tuition fees will be determined independently by the institution, based on the actual per-student cost of education.

It is worth noting that earlier, it was announced that additional admission would be carried out for vacant places remaining in undergraduate programs for the 2025/2026 academic year in accordance with the statement of the State Commission on Admission to Educational Institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
