Until January 1, 2027, entrepreneurs constructing and equipping modular hotels consisting of at least 10 modules will be granted a one-time subsidy to cover a portion of these expenses. This measure was established in the Presidential Decree titled “On Measures to Significantly Increase the Flow of Tourists and Rapidly Expand the Scope of Tourism Services to Enhance the Role and Importance of Tourism in the Economy for 2025–2026,” which was adopted on May 15.

According to the decree, subsidies for modular hotels will be allocated at the following rates:

  • for each bed in a Category I modular hotel, 10 million soums;
  • for each bed in a Category II modular hotel, 7 million soums;
  • and for each bed in a Category III modular hotel, 5 million soums.

It should be noted that from October 2024 until November 1, 2026, subsidies were previously provided for newly established modular hotels possessing a compliance certificate, with the subsidy amount set at 1 million soum per bed. Now, the subsidy amount has been increased.

In addition, winners of the nationwide sports competitions held among youth will be additionally awarded the “Travel Across Uzbekistan” program.

The document further states that, beginning June 1, 2025, all state electronic systems and platforms related to the tourism sector will be developed within the framework of the National Tourism Unified Platform. By the end of 2025, a thematic office titled “Tourism on the Silk Road” will be established in the city of Samarkand. Moreover, until January 1, 2028, a part of the expenses for enhancing the qualifications of staff in the tourism segment of medical tourism clusters will be covered. Finally, by January 1, 2030, the services offered by these medical tourism clusters will be promoted at international tourism and medical fairs as well as exhibitions.
