Woman jailed for insulting and threatening her mother in Parkent (video)

A 37-year-old woman in Parkent district of Tashkent region has been sentenced to five days of administrative detention for insulting her mother with offensive words and threatening to kill her. The regional Department of Internal Affairs reported this.

According to the department, the incident occurred in Parkent district on May 6 this year. It was brought under control and investigated by local internal affairs officers on the same day. It was established that the woman is registered at a psychiatric dispensary and had previously received treatment for her condition. Officials said her unusual appearance was related to this condition.

The department said administrative documents were drawn up against the 37-year-old woman shown in the video for previously violating the requirements of a protection order issued for her mother. The case was formalized under Article 206-1 of the Code of Administrative Liability, which covers failure by a person who has committed or is prone to committing harassment or violence to comply with the requirements of a protection order. Documents were also drawn up under Article 183, which covers minor hooliganism, and Article 41, which covers insult.

By court decision, she was sentenced to five days of administrative detention.

Earlier, a 29-year-old man in Fergana region killed his mother with an axe following a dispute over money.
