President appoints the leadership of Uzbekistan's new Military University

Earlier, it was reported that the Academy of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan would be reformed and replaced by the newly established Military Security and Defense University of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Now, the heads of the university’s institutes have been appointed, according to the Ministry of Defense.

Major General Farhodjon Ortiqovich Shermatov has been appointed as the First Deputy Head of the Military Security and Defense University of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Colonel Kahramonjon Obidjonovich Zoidov has been appointed as the Head of the Institute of Ground Forces under the Military Security and Defense University of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Colonel Abdulla Adhamovich Hamroyev has been appointed as the Head of the Military Aviation Institute of the Military Security and Defense University of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Lieutenant Colonel Bakhtiyor Nematovich Rakhimov has been appointed as the Head of the Military Institute of Information and Communication Technologies and Communications of the Military Security and Defense University of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Colonel of the Medical Service Ulugbek Abdugafurovich Rasulov has been appointed as the Head of the Military Medical Institute of the Military Security and Defense University of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
