Bakhshillo Kamolovich Khojaev has been appointed as the rector of Tashkent State University of Law, the Ministry of Justice reported.
Before this appointment, he had served as the university’s pro-rector for scientific work and innovations since 2022.
Bakhshillo Khojaev was born on June 25, 1982, in the Bukhara region. He graduated from the Tashkent State Institute of Law with a bachelor’s degree in 2004, a master’s degree in 2006, and completed his doctoral studies at Nagoya University (Japan) in 2018. He holds a Doctor of Law degree, is a professor, and serves as a second-degree adviser of justice.
He began his professional career in 2004 as an assistant lawyer at the private law firm “Mezon Khususiy Xizmati.”
Earlier, it was announced that Tashkent State University of Law would introduce elections for faculty deans and department heads.
