Videos have circulated on social media claiming that ninth-grade girls from School No. 41 in Urgut district of the Samarkand region were involved in a fight. The regional Department of Preschool and School Education has issued an official statement regarding the incident.

According to the department, on October 13 of this year, student F.F. from grade 9A and student R.G. from grade 9B had an argument over the home telephone in the evening. As a result, on October 14, after their sixth lesson, they met on Sarbozor Street in the “Qoratepa” neighborhood around 2:20 p.m., where a physical altercation took place. Several classmates were also present at the scene.

The department reported that a meeting was held with the students involved and their parents, during which explanatory work was carried out. Additionally, district police officials drew up administrative reports against the parents of all 12 students involved in the incident under Article 47 of the Administrative Responsibility Code (failure to fulfill duties regarding the upbringing and education of children).

Earlier, it was reported that in the city of Navoi, a group of girls had also fought in a park due to inappropriate behavior toward each other.
