A video has circulated on social media showing a young man in Samarkand attempting to forcibly push a girl into his car in front of bystanders, while the girl resists. The regional department of Internal Affairs has issued a statement regarding the incident.

According to the report, on October 1 at around 16:00 in the Amir Temur neighborhood of Samarkand city, a 2002-born man, identified as M.I., was walking with a girl he knew, M.A., when a disagreement arose between them. In an attempt to resolve the dispute, M.I. asked M.A. to get into his car. However, when she refused, he tried to force her into the vehicle.

During the preliminary investigation, M.A. stated that she had no claims against M.I. regarding the incident.

It was reported that documents were drawn up against citizen M.I. under Article 183 of the Administrative Liability Code (petty hooliganism), and the case was forwarded to the Samarkand city criminal court for a legal decision.

It is worth noting that earlier, an entrepreneur was brutally beaten by three individuals in the Samarkand region’s Urgut district. In that case, the Investigation Department under the Urgut district Internal Affairs directorate opened a criminal case under Article 277, part 3, paragraph ’’g’’ of the Criminal Code (hooliganism).
