On March 21, following the Nowruz celebration at New Uzbekistan Park in Tashkent, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with "Manchester City"'s Uzbek defender Abdukodir Khusanov. The Football Association of Uzbekistan (UFA) reported this.
The 21-year-old footballer, accompanied by his father, former player Hikmat Khashimov, presented President Mirziyoyev with his signed "Manchester City" jersey.
It is worth noting that in January, during his visit to the United Arab Emirates, Mirziyoyev met with the country’s crown prince and "Manchester City" owner, Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, and expressed gratitude for Khusanov’s transfer.
