Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulates Erdoğan on his birthday

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev today, February 26, during a telephone conversation, sincerely congratulated President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on his birthday. This was reported by the press service of the Uzbek leader.

According to the report, the head of state wished the Turkish leader strong health and well-being, great success in his public service, and peace and prosperity to the brotherly Turkish people.

The presidents also warmly congratulated each other on the holy month of Ramadan, which is sacred for the entire Muslim Ummah.

Issues related to further strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Türkiye were discussed within the framework of implementing the high-level agreements reached in January this year in Ankara.

Satisfaction was expressed with the high level achieved in interstate cooperation. It was emphasized that the outcomes of the recent meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council had elevated bilateral relations to a qualitatively new stage.

Particular attention was paid to advancing cooperation projects based on the developed road maps.

The leaders also exchanged views on pressing issues of international and regional significance and discussed the schedule of upcoming events.
