Furniture workshop burns in Syrdarya (video)

A fire broke out at a furniture production workshop in Gulistan city, Syrdarya region, on June 14, the Syrdarya Regional Department of Emergency Situations reported.

According to the report, the fire occurred at 9:36 p.m. at a furniture production workshop located in the Boston mahalla of Gulistan city.

As a result of the fire, the roof, ceiling and interior equipment of the building burned over an area of about 55 square meters. Rescuers managed to save about 220 square meters of the workshop from the fire.

No burns or injuries were reported. An inquiry is currently underway.

Earlier, a fire broke out at a pharmacy in Rishtan district, Fergana region. As a result, the interior and roof of the pharmacy over an area of 40 square meters, as well as the roof of the Rishtan district multidisciplinary polyclinic located nearby over an area of 70 square meters, burned and were damaged.
