President of Slovakia arrives in Samarkand

At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Slovak Republic, Peter Pellegrini, arrived in Uzbekistan on October 29 on a working visit.
The distinguished guest was welcomed at Samarkand International Airport by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, and other officials.
According to the visit program, high-level talks will be held in Samarkand, during which the prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation will be discussed.
In addition, Peter Pellegrini will participate as an honorary guest in the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference.
It is worth noting that earlier, it was reported that President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan would also attend this event.
