Illegal electricity use worth 1 billion soums uncovered in Surkhandarya

A case of illegal electricity consumption amounting to 1 billion soums has been identified in the Denov district of Surkhandarya Region, according to Uzenergoinspektsiya.
According to the report, an inspection in the Denov district revealed that a building owned by “D.T.K.” LLC had been unlawfully using electricity through its electrical installations.
As a result of the violation, preliminary calculations by the electricity supply company indicate that damages amounted to 1 billion 32 million soums.
It is worth noting that earlier, an individual was detained in the Karshi district of Kashkadarya Region for illegally using natural gas.
