On August 2 of this year, train services between the ’’Technopark’’ and ’’Qipchoq’’ stations, consisting of 14 stops on the Tashkent metro line, were temporarily suspended to carry out preventive maintenance. According to the Tashkent metro press service, the route is scheduled to reopen on November 1.

Reportedly, during the preventive maintenance on the ’’Overground circle line,’’ inspections were conducted and identified issues, including track conditions, damaged sleepers, and drainage system problems, which have been resolved.

Earlier, it was reported that the metro line might reopen around October 18. However, trains are currently running in test mode without passengers. Due to the planned doubling of train speed and reduced intervals between rides, the full reopening of the route is scheduled for around November 1.

It is worth noting that on May 19 of this year, projects included in the plan for the development of the Tashkent Metro were presented to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. According to the plan, the metro line is expected to be extended to the territory of the Tashkent Tractor Plant.
