In Tashkent, 29-year-old man beats 61-year-old and flees the scene

Videos have circulated on social media showing a 29-year-old man beating a 61-year-old man and fleeing the scene. The footage shows the younger man violently punching and kicking the victim. The Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs has issued a statement regarding the incident.
According to the report, on October 19 at around 8:00 p.m., on Yusuf Khos Hojib Street in the Yakkasaray district, a 1996-born man identified as B.S. assaulted a 1964-born man, S.D., several times following a personal dispute, and then fled the scene in a Nexia-2 vehicle. Preliminary medical reports indicate that the victim suffered a closed head injury, a concussion, and an abrasion above his right eyebrow.
The authorities stated that a criminal case has been opened under Article 277 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism) by the Yakkasaray District Department of Internal Affairs. Investigative measures are currently underway, and a lawful decision will be made upon completion of the investigation.
Earlier, it was reported that in Samarkand region’s Urgut district, ninth-grade students from School No. 41 were involved in a fight. Following the incident, a meeting was held with the students and their parents, during which preventive conversations were conducted. The district police officials drew up administrative reports against the parents of all 12 students involved, in accordance with Article 47 of the Administrative Responsibility Code (failure to fulfill parental duties in upbringing and education of children).
