Lightning forces flights to divert from Tashkent airport

Three flights were forced to land at alternate airports due to severe lightning and adverse weather at Tashkent International Airport, Uzbekistan Airports reported.
Flight HY3526 from Male to Tashkent was diverted to Samarkand because of the lightning.
Flight HY722 from Astana to Tashkent was also redirected to the alternate airport in Samarkand.
In addition, flight CSN6027 from Beijing to Tashkent, operated by a Chinese airline, diverted to the alternate airport in Bishkek.
Earlier, several flights were redirected to alternate airports due to heavy snowfall and adverse weather conditions in the Fergana Valley.
