Details emerge in beating of vocational school student in Tashkent

Earlier, it was reported that a student of a specialized vocational school for people with disabilities in Tashkent was subjected to violence. It has now been revealed that the student was beaten by his classmate, according to the National Agency for Social Protection.

It is noted that the case has been taken under the control of the National Agency for Social Protection and thoroughly investigated by the district prosecutor’s office and the district Department of Internal Affairs. The investigation established that the incident occurred due to a disagreement between two minor students, and the victim was injured by his roommate.

The injured student is currently receiving the necessary medical assistance and remains under the supervision of the National Agency for Social Protection. A separate case has been opened in connection with the incident, and the situation is under constant monitoring. Legal action has also been taken against the school officials who failed to ensure proper supervision and allowed such a situation to occur, with appropriate measures being implemented.

It is worth noting that earlier, in the city of Termez, Surkhandarya region, a woman born in 1980 intervened in a quarrel between her grandson, born in 2022, and another child born in 2017 who was playing nearby. The woman struck the 8-year-old child in the face several times with her hand.
