From April 18 to April 22, 2025, certain areas in Tashkent’s Almazar and Yunusabad districts will experience temporary power outages. This was announced by “Tashkent City Electric Networks” LLC.
The outages are linked to the modernization of high-voltage transmission lines L-DOK-1 and L-DOK-2. Outdated overhead lines will be replaced with modern cable infrastructure. Repair work has been deemed necessary due to the physical and operational deterioration of existing communication and electrical networks. Experts recommended scheduling these activities during the spring season, prior to the high-load summer period, to minimize inconvenience for residents.
To ensure the quality, safety, and efficiency of the work, and to prevent emergency outages during the summer season, the following resources will be mobilized: 39 specialized vehicles, 20 technical units, 6 brigades, and 132 personnel. Additionally, 21,672 meters of electrical cables will be replaced.
In the Almazar district, outages will affect neighborhoods such as “Ahil,” “Elparvar,” “Ibrohim ota,” “Gulzor,” “Karasaroy,” “Oltinsoy,” “Moyarik,” and “Miskin.” Wholesale and private consumer facilities in these areas will also face temporary disconnections.
In Yunusabad district, neighborhoods including “Astraobod,” “Turkiston,” “Ming chinor,” “Nurmakon,” “Sobirobod,” “Hamkorobod,” “Katta Hasanboy,” “Sharq haqiqati,” “Registon,” “Yo‘lariq,” and “Uch qahramon” will be affected.
Power outages will occur daily from 08:00 to 18:00, during periods of low network load. Public institutions, such as clinics, schools, and kindergartens, will be provided with stable electricity through portable diesel generators.
