Legendary filmmaker Eduard Khachaturov, best known for directing the film "To‘ylar muborak (Happy Weddings)", has died at the age of 89. His passing was confirmed by the Creative Union of Filmmakers of Uzbekistan.
Throughout his distinguished career, Khachaturov directed several notable films, including "Katta jang oldidan (Before the Great War)", "To‘ylar muborak (Happy Weddings)", "Ilk yo‘lovchilar (First Travelers)", "Chegara hududi (Border Territory)", "Cho‘l (Desert)", "Yaxshi yigit (Good Guy)", "Har uchinchi (Every Third)", and "Ringga chorlamoqda (Calling to the Ring)".
It is worth noting that the prominent historian, professor, and doctor of historical sciences, Rakhmon Farmonov, also passed away recently.
