Uzbekistan appoints new ambassador to Greece

In Athens, Abat Fayzullaev, Uzbekistan’s newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Greece, presented his credentials to the President of Greece, Konstantinos Tassoulas. This was reported by the “Dunyo” news agency.
According to the report, during the ceremony, the President of Greece warmly congratulated the new ambassadors and wished them success in their work. He also expressed hope that the ambassadors would make a meaningful contribution to the development of bilateral and multilateral relations.
In a brief conversation, Konstantinos Tassoulas highlighted that at a time of increasing geopolitical tensions worldwide, Uzbekistan’s balanced diplomacy is making an important contribution to regional stability and strengthening international trust.
The Greek leader also noted that bilateral relations with Uzbekistan have entered a new phase, creating fresh opportunities to expand political, economic, and cultural ties between the two countries.
It is worth noting that Uzbekistan previously appointed a new ambassador to Turkey.
