An article dedicated to Uzbekistan’s cities has been published in a special issue of Poland’s National Geographic Traveler magazine. Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva were included among the 30 most beautiful cities in Asia.

The article, written by Polish journalist Agnieszka Franus, highlights Uzbekistan’s rich historical and cultural heritage, as well as the architecture of the Great Silk Road cities. In particular, high praise was given to the Registan ensemble, Shakhi-Zinda, the Bibi-Khanym Mosque and the Amir Temur Mausoleum, all located in Samarkand and included on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. The Ark Fortress in Bukhara and the Ichan-Kala complex in Khiva were also highly rated.

The publication also notes the conditions created for tourists, including safety and transport infrastructure. According to the journalist, Uzbekistan offers sufficient convenience for independent travel, and the price and quality of services are well balanced. The hospitality of the local population is also emphasized in the article.

Earlier, a ranking of the most expensive cities in Central Asia was compiled.
