Deputy Minister appointed head of Navoi Emergency Situations Department

By the order of the Minister of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan, Colonel Khurshid Norkazokovich Aliboev has been appointed head of the Navoi Regional Emergency Situations Department. This was reported by the ministry’s press service.
Khurshid Aliboev was born in 1982 in the Jizzakh region. He graduated from the National University of Uzbekistan in 2003 and the Russian Academy of Civil Protection in 2015. Previously, he served as head of the Tashkent Regional Emergency Situations Department.
Prior to this appointment, he held the position of Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations.
It should be recalled that Major General Abdulla Kuldashev, who had served as Minister of Emergency Situations since 2022, was dismissed for excessive bureaucracy and legal violations related to construction permits and fire safety during the commissioning of buildings.
Botir Bahromovich Kudratkhodjaev was subsequently appointed as the new Minister of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan. By presidential decree, he was also awarded the rank of Major General.
Additionally, Khurshid Tulkinboyevich Sotiev has been appointed Deputy Head of the Emergency Situations Department — Acting Head of the Emergency Situations Prevention Department, while Nuriddin Bahriddinovich Kadyrov has been appointed Deputy Head of the Emergency Situations Department — Acting Head of the Spiritual and Educational Affairs and Personnel Supply Department.
