In Tashkent’s Yangihayot district, the gas supply to 570 households was cut off after a vehicle struck a gas pipeline, the Ministry of Energy reported.

According to the report, at 08:00 on October 16, during repair work on a water pipeline in the ’’Mash’al’’ neighborhood of Yangihayot, a vehicle hit a medium-pressure gas pipeline.

As a result, three multi-story buildings (350 apartments) and 220 private houses in the area were left without a gas supply.

’’Repair work is currently underway to resolve the malfunction. Once the repairs are completed, the natural gas supply will be restored,’’ the report added.

It is worth noting that earlier in Andijan, some areas were left without electricity due to a fire caused by a short circuit at a substation.
