Lacetti carrying passengers falls into pit in Yangiyul

In the Tashkent region, a Lacetti car carrying two passengers fell into a pit dug for an under-construction pedestrian crossing. The incident was reported by the regional Traffic Safety Department’s press service.
According to reports, the incident occurred on October 7 at approximately 5:15 am on the 26th kilometer of the M34 ’’Tashkent–Dushanbe’’ highway in Yangiyul city, Tashkent region. The driver, N.N., born in 1990, was operating a Lacetti vehicle when, due to negligence, he fell into a pit at the site of an under-construction pedestrian crossing. The area was marked with the appropriate road signs.
As a result of the traffic accident, the driver and two passengers (Kh.D., born in 1981, and A.Sh., born in 1985) sought medical assistance at the Yangiyul city medical association.
’’Pre-investigation inquiries are being conducted by the Yangiyul city Internal Affairs department regarding the incident,’’ the report stated.
It is worth noting that earlier, a truck had collided with a bridge and came to a stop in the Zangiota district of the Tashkent region.
