Former professional kickboxer Andrew Tate, who is under criminal investigation in several countries, has arrived in Tashkent and was given a ceremonial welcome. He posted videos of the visit on the social media platform X.

His brother, Tristan Tate, can also be seen in the video.

Earlier, journalists reported that Andrew and Tristan Tate had been involved in a profit-sharing agreement with a casino company. The owners of that company are currently under investigation for a serious crime involving the creation of an organized criminal group.

The Attorney General of the US state of Florida has launched a criminal investigation into the Tate brothers. They are also accused of human trafficking in Romania.

While under investigation in Romania, Andrew Tate obtained a “golden passport” from one of the island states in the South Pacific. He is also facing allegations in the United Kingdom, although he has denied all accusations.

In August 2024, he was placed under house arrest in Romania. Prosecutors opened a second criminal case against him, his brother Tristan, and four other individuals. All of them denied the charges.

They are also wanted in the United Kingdom, where they face accusations of sexual violence.

In addition, the brothers have been accused of tax evasion. In December 2024, a British court authorized the seizure of more than £2 million after it was found that taxes had not been paid on £21 million in income. Tate described the ruling as “unjust.”

For reference, Tate was born in December 1986. His father served in the US Air Force and was also a chess master. After his parents divorced, he moved with his mother to Luton, England.

Tate and his brother have said that they lived in poverty during childhood.

He is a four-time world kickboxing champion, but he rose to wider prominence through the internet.
