Another fire breaks out at Aviasozlar Market

On January 4, a fire broke out at one of the shops at Aviasozlar (Aviators), located in Tashkent’s Yashnobod district. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported the incident.

According to the ministry, at 7:19 p.m., an alert was received that a shop was on fire within the territory of Aviasozlar Market JSC, located on Aviasozlar Street in Yashnobod district.

Following the report, four fire and rescue units arrived at the scene at 7:24 p.m. The fire was contained at 7:29 p.m. and fully extinguished at 7:34 p.m.

As a result of the fire, the interior and ceiling of the shop were damaged over an area of approximately 20 square meters.

It was reported that no injuries were recorded as a result of the fire. The cause of the incident and the amount of damage are currently being determined.

It is worth noting that a fire also occurred at Aviasozlar Market on December 13 last year. Videos circulated on social media at the time showed the fire to be large in scale. Some internet users claimed that the market had been completely destroyed by the blaze.
