Uzbek man dies at construction site in Russia

On October 1 of this year, a 22-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan died in a construction accident in the city of Arkhangelsk, Russia. The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in St. Petersburg reported the incident.
According to the Consulate General, an official note regarding the incident was sent to the representative office of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Arkhangelsk region. It was revealed that the deceased, identified as N.S., born in 2003 in the Surkhandarya region, was working at the construction site of the ’’Koritsa’’ residential complex when he fell from the fifth floor and died as a result.
The Investigative Department of the Solombala district of Arkhangelsk has initiated a criminal case under part 2 of Article 216 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (’’Violation of safety regulations during construction or other work’’). Investigative actions are currently underway, and the case is under the supervision of the Consulate General.
It is worth noting that earlier, a 23-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan also died in a workplace accident at the construction site of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation and the Judicial Department under the Supreme Court in St. Petersburg.
