Kindergarten staff in Syrdarya force child to apologize (video)

A video has circulated on social media showing two caregivers at the private preschool ’’Shodlik’’ in Okoltin district, Syrdarya region, forcing a child to apologize in tears. The regional Department of Preschool and School Education has issued a statement regarding the incident.

According to the department, N.A., a caregiver at the ’’Shodlik’’ private preschool in Okoltin district, used inappropriate language toward a child during a class and engaged in behavior contrary to pedagogical ethics.

It was reported that appropriate measures have been taken regarding the incident, and employment contracts with the two caregivers have been terminated. In connection with this case, additional measures have been set to strengthen the moral responsibility of teachers within the preschool education system.

It is worth noting that earlier, in the Khiva district of the Khorezm region, the head of a private preschool institution had injured a child.
