Flooding affects children’s oncology and hematology center in Tashkent

Heavy rainfall on May 3 caused flooding at the Children’s Oncology and Hematology Center located on Arnasoy Street in the Chilonzor district of Tashkent, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan.
The head of the district emergency department arrived at the scene, and the situation was brought under control. With the use of special equipment and the efforts of the center’s staff, the consequences of the incident were fully eliminated by around 9:00 p.m.
Earlier, flooding had also affected more than 90 homes in Beshariq district of Fergana Region.
