Reports circulated on social media claiming that an unidentified individual in Tashkent had called the city’s Main Department of Internal Affairs to file a complaint against US President Donald Trump. The individual was later identified and fined 1,236,000 soums. QALAMPIR.UZ reviewed the relevant court ruling.

According to the document, the case was heard on January 7 this year at the Bektemir District Criminal Court. During the hearing, the defendant partially admitted guilt. It was established that on January 6, 2026, citizen A.K., while intoxicated, called the Tashkent city police emergency number “102” and reported information concerning “taking action against US President Donald Trump and his residence in the White House,” thereby deliberately misleading emergency services.

It was also noted that the individual failed to comply with the lawful demands of internal affairs officers who arrived to conduct an inquiry and requested that he accompany them to the police building.

The court stated that the inquiry body had incorrectly classified the individual’s actions under Article 183 (minor hooliganism) and Article 194, Part One (failure to comply with lawful demands of internal affairs officers) of the Code of Administrative Responsibility.

As a result, proceedings under these two articles were terminated due to the absence of elements of an administrative offense, in accordance with Article 271, Clause One of the Code of Administrative Responsibility.

However, the individual was found guilty of committing an offense under Article 199 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility, which covers the deliberate false calling of emergency services. He was fined an amount equal to three times the basic calculation amount, totaling 1,236,000 soums.
