Kindergarten teacher dismissed in Tashkent for hitting a child for refusing to sleep (video)

A teacher who physically assaulted a child at a private kindergarten in Tashkent has been dismissed from her position. The Millar outlet reported the incident.

According to the report, the incident occurred on January 22 this year at the non-state preschool education institution American Daycare, located in Tashkent’s Olmazor district. The kindergarten administration stated that the teacher who treated the child roughly has been fired.

“The kindergarten teacher raised her hand against my child and behaved aggressively simply because he did not sleep during lunchtime. She hit him so hard that his nose started bleeding. They dressed my child, washed his face and hands, and sent him back to me, and that was when I came to the kindergarten,” the child’s mother said.

The Tashkent Department of Preschool and School Education reported that the incident is currently under review by the department. Additional information will be provided based on the results of the investigation.

It is worth noting that earlier, in the 27th state preschool education institution in the Qibray district of Tashkent region, a teacher was also found to have treated children roughly during class activities.
