Tourist arrivals in Uzbekistan reach record levels

For the first time in Uzbekistan’s history, the number of foreign tourists has reached record levels. Since April 2025, more than one million foreign visitors have arrived in Uzbekistan each month, according to the Tourism Committee.

According to data, more than 8.6 million tourists visited Uzbekistan in the first nine months of this year, marking a 112.5% increase compared to the same period last year.

By country, the growth in tourist arrivals in 2025 compared to 2022 (the post-pandemic year) was as follows: from the United Kingdom — 2.6 times higher, Qatar — 6.2 times, the United States — 3 times, France — 2.9 times, Russia — 2.1 times, Hungary — 3.3 times, Germany — 2.5 times, and Poland — 6.2 times.

In addition, tourist services exports reached a record high in 2025, exceeding $3.6 billion.
