Truck catches fire in Boysun (video)

Today, October 28, a DAF cargo truck caught fire in the Boysun district of Surkhandarya region, the Regional Department of Emergency Situations reported.
According to the report, at 08:54 am, information was received that a DAF truck traveling along the ’’Kazakhstan–Tajikistan’’ route on the M-39 ’’Almaty–Bishkek–Tashkent–Termez’’ highway at the 1,355th kilometer mark was on fire within the Boysun district.
A fire and rescue crew arrived at the scene at 09:40, contained the blaze by 09:43, and fully extinguished it by 09:55.
As a result of the incident, the truck’s engine, cabin, and foam products in the cargo section were completely burned.
The cause and the extent of the damage are currently under investigation. No injuries have been reported.
It is worth noting that earlier, a Volvo truck caught fire on the Kamchik mountain pass.
