Drivers clash over right of way in Chilonzor (video)

A video showing a dispute between two drivers and their passengers over the right of way in Tashkent’s Chilonzor district has circulated on social media. The Tashkent Main Department of Internal Affairs has commented on the incident.

According to the report, the incident occurred at around 11:30 p.m. on December 21 on KHYAY Street in the Chilonzor district. The conflict involved the driver of a Cobalt vehicle with license plate number 01 K 122 VC, born in 2002, accompanied by passengers born in 2001 and 1988, and the driver of another Cobalt vehicle with license plate number 50 E 942 FB, born in 2000, accompanied by passengers born in 1999.

It was reported that the individuals argued over the right of way and subsequently engaged in a verbal altercation on the roadway, deliberately disregarding public conduct rules and disturbing public order. No individuals were reported to have sought medical assistance for bodily injuries as a result of the incident.

Following the incident, the Chilonzor District Department of Internal Affairs issued an administrative report under Article 183 of the Administrative Code (petty hooliganism).

It is worth noting that earlier, a similar incident involving Toyota and Damas drivers disputing the right of way was reported in the Yangiyul district of Tashkent region.
