A woman gave birth to her baby in a patrol car while on her way to the maternity hospital yesterday, on September 26, in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The press service of the Police and Border Service reported this.
According to the report, the woman had requested to be taken to the hospital by police officers. The Emergency Situations Service acted quickly, but the woman delivered her baby directly in the vehicle. She was then transferred to the doctors at Maternity Hospital No. 2.
According to the Ministry of Health, both the mother and the baby received the necessary medical care, and their condition is reported as stable.
Previously, a Kyrgyz woman went into labor on an Uzbekistan Airways flight from Tashkent to Istanbul. In another case, a woman gave birth while waiting at a bus station in Karaganda, Kazakhstan.
