Citizens of Uzbekistan convicted of crimes and placed under international wanted notices have been located in the United States and Turkey, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
According to the report, search notices had been issued against these individuals for committing various crimes, including tax evasion, large-scale fraud, and other criminal acts.
As a result of information exchanges, negotiations, and joint rapid measures with the relevant agencies of the US and Turkey, as well as the Ankara Interpol National Central Bureau, a decision was made to expel the wanted individuals.
Two criminals, accompanied by officers of the US Immigration and Customs Police, were brought to Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov, while two others were expelled from Turkey. Subsequently, they were handed over to the Interpol National Central Bureau and the officers of the territorial internal affairs bodies of the republic to conduct investigative actions.
Earlier, three citizens of Uzbekistan wanted through Interpol channels were arrested in the UAE and deported to Uzbekistan.
