Mirziyoyev welcomes Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic with official ceremony

Today, October 28, an official welcoming ceremony was held at the Kuksaroy Residence for the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, who arrived in Uzbekistan on an official visit. The information was reported by the press service of the President of Uzbekistan.

It was stated that President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev warmly welcomed the distinguished guest and invited him to the podium.

The national anthems of both countries were performed. Accompanied by a military orchestra, the leaders reviewed the guard of honor. They then greeted the members of the official delegations.

After the joint photo session, the heads of state began their talks with the participation of the delegations.

It should be recalled that earlier it was reported that, at the invitation of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Aleksandar Vucic arrived in Uzbekistan on an official visit accompanied by his spouse. According to the visit program, talks will be held in Tashkent to discuss the prospects for further developing Uzbekistan–Serbia cooperation. In addition, Aleksandar Vucic, as an honorary guest, will also attend the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference, which will begin this week in the city of Samarkand.
