President to travel to Jizzakh today

On December 2, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit the Jizzakh region, the presidential press secretary Sherzod Asadov reported.
During the visit, the head of state will review ongoing work in transport infrastructure, agriculture, education, healthcare, and public services. He will also participate in an extraordinary session of the Jizzakh Regional Council of People's Deputies.
It is worth noting that, on November 25, President Mirziyoyev visited the Samarkand region. In the Urgut district, an extraordinary session of the Samarkand Regional Council of People's Deputies was held, during which Adiz Boboev, who had been acting as the governor of Samarkand for the past year, was officially confirmed as the region’s governor.
