According to a government resolution adopted on May 15, starting from June 1, fines will no longer be issued by radar for crossing road markings, except for the stop line. However, if such a violation is detected by a traffic police officer, it will be documented in the established manner. The resolution also stipulates that repair or marking work on road lines will not be allowed from 07:00 to 21:00. This restriction does not apply to weekends or urgent cases that cannot be postponed. Additionally, government resolution No. 318, titled “On Measures to Create Additional Conveniences for the Population When Using Transport Vehicles,” introduces several changes, including the installation of radar warning signs and controlled traffic lights at railway crossings.
Sign will be placed in front of the radar, and unnecessary road signs will be dismantled

Starting from September 1, a “Radar” road sign will be installed in areas where stationary or mobile radars are used to monitor speed. These signs will be placed no closer than 250 meters and no farther than 500 meters from the radar.
In addition, from 23:00 to 06:00, vehicles other than public transport will be allowed to use lanes specially designated for routed vehicles.

Currently, it is prohibited for other vehicles to use lanes designated for buses, marked with the letter “A.” However, since most bus services stop operating after 23:00, to improve convenience, other vehicles will be allowed to use these lanes during nighttime hours until 06:00. This will not be considered a traffic violation.

The resolution calls for a full review of the necessity of “Stopping is prohibited” and “Parking is prohibited” road signs. Signs found to be unnecessary will be dismantled, and new information signs will be installed to indicate their operating hours.
Vehicles will be allowed to stop or park outside the designated hours shown on these signs. For example, if a “Stopping is prohibited” sign indicates operational hours of 07:00 to 21:00, vehicles will be permitted to stop or park in that area from 21:00 to 07:00.
Traffic lights will be installed at railway crossings
Currently, some railways that intersect roads do not operate for extended periods—sometimes for days or weeks—yet drivers are still required to stop, leading to unnecessary congestion.
For instance, on key roads in Tashkent, such as Fergana Road (near the bridge), the intersection of Choponata and Shota Rustaveli streets, and the Small Ring Road (Kushbegi), drivers are often forced to stop even when no train is approaching.
“In this regard, the resolution stipulates that ‘Stop’ signs will be replaced with controlled traffic lights at certain railway intersections that cross highways,” said Sherzod Asadov, the presidential press secretary.

Also, in accordance with the resolution:
- By the end of 2025, the Interior Ministry will conduct a full inspection of all specialized equipment installed at intersections and on roads.
- Based on the results of the inspection, equipment that was installed without proper authorization or in violation of technical standards will be dismantled.
- In areas where speeding is frequent, electronic signs will be installed to warn drivers of their current speed.
- Measures will be introduced to ensure the protection of personal data and prevent the misuse of technical tools used by private entrepreneurs.

Additionally, on roads near schools and preschool educational institutions, exceeding the speed limit set by the Traffic Rules will be allowed on weekends, public holidays, and from 19:00 to 07:00, up to the general speed limit permitted for the given area.
Asadov noted that, in accordance with a presidential order, a draft law has been developed introducing a new measure—an “administrative warning”—into the system of administrative penalties.
Under this draft law, individuals committing certain minor traffic violations for the first time may be issued a warning by a traffic police officer. Such a warning may only be given once per year.
