2 women wanted for human trafficking detained in Turkey

Two women wanted in Turkey on charges of human trafficking have been detained. This was reported by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul.

According to the report, they were apprehended during a joint search operation carried out by the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Turkey and Uzbekistan, and subsequently deported to Uzbekistan.

The detainees have been identified as Barno Husainovna Muhamedova, born in 1962 in the Samarkand region, and Nozima Fakhriddinovna Najmiddinova, born in 1987 in the Namangan region.

Citizens who have been affected by the actions of these individuals are urged to contact the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan or its regional offices, as well as the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Istanbul.

It should be noted that earlier, as a result of joint search operations conducted by the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Turkey and Uzbekistan, a person known by the nickname “Sonya,” who was wanted in connection with human trafficking, was also deported to Uzbekistan.
