Kazakh citizens who took part in a mass brawl at a construction site in the Russian settlement of Ust-Luga on March 26 have been detained, Tengrinews reported.
According to the report, the conflict began as a dispute between Kazakh workers and local security guards. Initially, several hundred people were said to have been involved in the unrest. More than 30 individuals were detained after the incident, but most of them were later released following initial investigative procedures.
Some of those involved, including Kazakh citizens, were sentenced to 10 days of administrative detention for administrative offenses. The investigation into three other Kazakh nationals is still ongoing.
There were no reported injuries or citizens in need of medical assistance. All Kazakh citizens are being provided with the necessary consular and legal support.
It is worth noting that earlier, the Second Western District Military Court of Russia sentenced four direct perpetrators of the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall in Moscow region, all of whom were citizens of Tajikistan, to life imprisonment.
